Governor Ron DeSantis Appoints Consumer Rights Law Group Founding Attorney James Giardina as Judge on the Hillsborough County Court
The Consumer Rights Law Group, PLLC is proud to announce that founding attorney James Salvatore Giardina was appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to serve as judge on the Hillsborough County Court. Giardina was appointed on December 2, 2021 to fill one of three new vacancies created by the legislature.
Giardina has been lead counsel at the Consumer Rights Law Group since its founding in 2008. Though he focuses on consumer finance litigation, his litigation experience is broad, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. He practices regularly in federal court, as both lead and local counsel, and has been named class counsel in multiple class action cases.
In addition to his litigation practice, Giardina, who is rated AV preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, has been committed to serving his community and the legal profession. He has been recognized by the Supreme Court of Florida for exceptional pro bono service in the years 2014 and 2016 and 2017.
